Tachyon replaced Event Horizon as my primary computer. It currently serves as a file server and backup DNS server after neutrino replaced it as my primary computer.
When serving as my primary computer, tachyon consisted of:
- IBM PowerPC 7400 (G4) running at 500MHz on a 100MHz system bus
- 768MB CAS 2-2-2 SDRAM
- Matsushita DVD-RAM drive
- 27gb of disk space
- 19" ViewSonic PS790 monitor, driven by a Rage 128 AGP 16mb
- Kensington MouseWorks 4-button wheelmouse
- Macally iKey keyboard
- Macally iShock joystick
- Keyspan PDA USB adaptor, connected to a Palm Vx
- a pair of JUSTer speakers
