The Dreamscape: Boar's Mouth

The party arrives in Boar's Mouth and searches around.

In the Stinking Hole tavern, Elsa eventually persuades the barkeep to summon the town crier.

Blayne takes the owlbear hide to the town tanner's, and trade a portion of the hide to the shopkeeper. There is enough material to make two cloaks; she convinces him to make one full-sized cloak and one halfling-sized cloak in exchange for the rest of the material.

Tammoh, waiting outside, overhears Elsa's distinctive style of speech, and walks towards the tavern. When he notices someone resembling a town crier moving towards the tavern, he follows discreetly.

Inside, Elsa sets up a darts tournament with the Barkeep, and has the town crier spread the word. Blayne announces her intent to enter the tournament as well. Teller takes the opportunity to begin performing in the tavern.

Blayne gets excessively drunk after several poor drinks served by the barkeep ("blue ale" that is neither blue, nor ale; "fire ale" that was undrinkable because it was literally on fire, etc).

Tammoh, not in the mood for a darts contest and tired from the battle, finds the town's Keeper's Guild and rents a small room to meditate in.

Elsa easily winds the darts tournament, with Blayne coming in second. Among Elsa's winnings is a set of masterwork full-plate armor, which she gives to Blayne, in full view of all the other competitors.

Blayne tries to explain a strange rules quirk to the barkeep, and suggests that Elsa must have been following those rules, as an attempt to explain Elsa giving Blayne the armor. The barkeep doesn't really care, however, seeing as the crowd is rather angry, Blayne decides to quickly make an exit, and runs off to the edge of town, dons her armor, and prays for spells.
