Parachute

I love you
and I need you
and I miss you everyday
You are my strength
my hope
my will to live.
Without you
I am nothing
Without you
I am empty
Without you
I am more alone
than anyone can ever imagine.
My heart crys out to you
but you are forced to push it away
and I envy the one
who has your heart
and I wish he'd go away.
But I can't do anything
no matter what I try
because I have lost my way
and the pieces of my mind
are falling apart
and I can only watch.
You
and you alone
are the only one
who can do anything at all for me.
I'm about to hit rock bottom
and you're the only parachute I have.
