Whiners Main Cast
- John - Wrote The Whiners. Computer Science major.
- Dave - John's roommate for freshman and the first half of sophomore year, and the self-appointed "Head Whiner." Left campus after Whiners #15.
- Matt - John's roommate starting the second half of sophomore year. Computer Engineering major.
Whiners Supporting Cast - Freshman and Sophomore Years
- Scott - A rather interesting fellow. Lived across the hall from John and Dave (Freshman year), and down the hall Sophomore year. His favorite word appears to be "schlong." Lived in the Leonardtown apartments Junior and Senior years.
- Mark - Scott's roommate (Freshman and Sophomore years), and a transylvanian transvestite. (Don't ask.) After Sophomore year, he moved to an off-campus apartment and began suffering through Ethernet Withdrawal.
- Kathryn - One of Scott's friends.
- Donald - A math, physics, astronomy, and comp sci quad major, until he transferred to a different school junior year.

- Danielle - Lived a floor above John and Matt. Freshman Philosophy and neurobiology double-major.
- Josh - Lived down the hall from John and Matt. CS major.
- Noah - Lived across the hall from John and Matt (Junior Year).
- Dan - Lived down the hall from John and Matt. CS major.
- Jared - The Resident Assistant on John and Matt's floor Junior and Senior year. Jekyll and Hyde fan. A bit of a loon. Not that that's a bad thing.
- Shimin - Lived across the hall from Danielle (Junior Year).
- Chinmay - Omar's roommate (Junior Year).
